NISSAN NCAA FINAL FOUR - MENS AND WOMENS

Simultaneous activations at the Women’s finals in Dallas, TX and the Men’s finals in Houston, TX. Each activation included 7 independent structures, Buzzer Beater Interactive Game of Horse (spelled NISSAN), Ariya Trophy Display, Memorabilia Video Structure, Vending Machine Structure, 2 Selfie Opportunities and an Entry Gateway. All outdoor truss structures reviewed by Clark Reder Engineering for lateral and gravity loads in 40mph winds.
Fabricated at the DGTL shop in Portland, OR over a 4 week period.

TECHNICAL DESIGNER
- Collaborated with project design team, client PM’s, scenic and CNC vendors.
- Led 3 person engineering team to draft shop drawings and load-in plans.
- Coordinated wind loading stamp and high wind action plan with PE.
- Designed buzzer beater game mechanics and industrial controls.
- Collaborated with programming team for digital game controls integration.
- Integrated LED panel arrays, modifiying designs as needed.
- Supervised CNC production.
- Coordinated materials and paint purchasing.
- Fabricated and painted 2 vending machine structures in 3 days.
- Assisted with project estimation, quotes, and scope adjustments.
